Geographical Location: in the most easterly part of the region of La Axarquía,
and by extension of the province of Málaga, in the foothills of the Sierra de Almijara.
The locality lies 30 meters above sea level and is 45 kilometers from Málaga. It
records an average rainfall of 460 millimeters and the annual average temperature
is about 20º C.
